New Camera Help Needed
Hi All
I have just been given my birthday pressy from the Mrs. Its a Canon powershot SX200 IS. Which tripod is best for this camera for use in Macro/Super Macro mode. And where would you advise to get one. Also any tips on getting the best out of Macro/Super Macro images would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Jim (GD)

Re: New Camera Help Needed
A good tripod is one that holds the camera still while shooting and will not topple over. If you are just going to shot finds then a cheaper tabletop tripod would do the job. But you many need someway to hold the find up verticaly to get the shot. The best way is to mount the camera so that the lens is facing down so that you are shooting down from above the object. Most tripods are not designed to do this. And those that do cost a bit.
I used an old car boot find tripod and adapted it to how I wanted it to work. If you are interested have a look here. Click Here

Hi Golderdoe
Got a good one from Asda only £11-97 with central ajustable bar so camera can be mounted facing down, a good buy.

Thanks puffin & rider. i will try Asda first. Ryder, what model/make was it? The nearest Asda to me is quite a few miles away, so I was thinking I could checkout if the nearest one has it or not via the NET?

Re: New Camera Help Needed
Worth looking in a good camera shop. As they mostly carry a vast range from say £15 to hundreds of pounds.
Anyway Argos have a selection. Also something like the Range or Lidl may have them even Ebay.

Try one with three legs.
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.
