There is a real big problem with that im afraid the police will take them away but thats it as it is a civil matter and bo farmer wants to pay out thousends for something like that the law needs to be changed im afraid I don't think it's a civil matter if items are being taken or damage is being do...

The Surrey Weald is full of clay and is generally and disspiritingly very quiet

We've decided to return to last week's farm which produced lots of hammereds and other bits, seeing as there's so much rolled land to cover.

Kind words, John. Nice responsible people, low key, always fun. Lee and Jake prefer their digs to be on a smaller scale - makes it more personal and means there's more land and finds (if any) to go around! Cant ever guarantee finds, of course, but that's the nature of the hobby.
