Re: Londons Roman Tablets

I was talking to a chap I know, who works for the company whose offices are being built on the site.
They had a pre press release preview of the tablets. He was very impressed.

Re: Sir Terry Wogan has died aged 77

I expect that's all we are going to get on today's news broadcasts ? :g48: Someone has just died of cancer, and your first thought is how put out you'll be by having to see it on the news :g64: Rip Terry Wogan :g48: Does it really matter how he died ? I know there are those who will always come out...

Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration

Just to re-enforce what I just wrote. I've just come back from shopping. While out I bumped into a chap from my detector club. He was telling me that at the last meeting, the FLO asked if he could record a couple of his finds from the finds table. No problem he replied, but as he didn't have an accu...

Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration

Michael Lewis is the top man now. I've sent an email to one of the people there trying to address the problem of why so many people still refuse to record their finds with the PAS. Am awaiting their reply. One reason no doubt being (and this was a new one to me), that FLO's have so many items to han...

Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration

Dan and Mary-Chester-Cadwell were/are working together in IT.
Whether or not that is exclusively for the PAS or the museum in general, I don't know.

Re: Windows 10

I use Apache open office? Yes that's the one. I was confused when you said Windows word. Should have been ok on a re-installation of the latest Open Office ?. Or maybe they now have a version which you need to use for Win10 ? One of the reasons I avoid downloading all of the Windows updates: I just...
