Out today in South Gloucestershire and came across this one with a 7 underneath a crown, appears to be by Herbert & Co, London

Not posted for a while but here is a button found at the weekend in North Somerset showing LTV (Loyal T.... Volunteers?) reverse has T Shaw, Hemmings Row, London, diameter 17.5mm

I too have been corresponding with David for a while and is a mine of really useful information relating to old ordnance, shared his book with our FLO Kurt Adams who has "borrowed" it for a month!

As Chairman of SHRADS I was approached by the local BBC News yesterday asking for an interview about the problem with Nighthawks and agreed to provide some footage as well as comment, spent ages taking video and about 10 minutes of interview but it was cut down to the bare minimum, starting at 12 mi...

Was lucky enough to find one of the coins from the "hoard". The members of SHRADS who found coins have donated them back to the farmer whose land they were found on. Lets hope that there are more in the area!
