I was asked by a dairy farmer to run my detector over a lorry load of bedding for his cattle, it was full of signals, he said there should be no metal in it, but it was full of the usual alloy fixings from kitchens etc. The problem is the farmers love it for bedding down the cattle as it is cheaper ...

I've found a couple of these before now which have been recorded, here's one I found last month which is rather more interesting as it is millefiori and you probably wont have seen it yet. It was found in an area with a scattering of 3rd and 4thC coins and artefacts. Good luck with your research Pau...
