Is there any thing specific that denotes the second button as a woman's livery button, such as the crest within the lozenges?
I read somewhere the lozenge denotes a woman’s crest, but also that the woman is unmarried. :g58:

Re: good news on a car battery that lasts

But what is the life of the battery before you have to replace it?
How much do they cost?
What happens when the battery starts to lose its efficiency, so the mileage per charge decreases? :g43:

Re: Amateur archaeologist believes he’s traced the Holy Grail to a ‘secret crypt’ under a river in Hounslow

Outdoor recreation encouraged.
It would appear you can go out on your own or with one other person, as long as the land owner agrees.

Tragic accident.
Cows can be protective if they have young calves.
Or they may have taken a dislike to the dogs.
Sad situation.

Re: bones in disturbed peat bogs are rotting away

Interesting, the archaeologist is saying that farming and disturbed sites are letting oxygen into the bogs, leading to loss of artefacts / bones by degrading in the soil over time. The Ness of Brodgar is an incredible archaeological site, but how come it has taken 7 years for us to hear about this Neolithic decoration?
