Hi I do not have any land as yet to detect on but I am trying to find some, sorry its taken so long to reply as my hard drive broke and I have only just replaced it,I am looking into beach detecting and common land detecting, do you have anywhere.

sorry tony...even though I joined in 2006 I was away from here for a few years so I have come back as a newbie...yes you are probably right I just have to keep on asking and hopefully one day some one will give in.
