South Lincs yesterday near Boston and I passed a field of harvested barley with the straw already baled............a field of barley straw big round bales.........what a great sight to see again.............. :g50:

Hi Stu. Saw your call-out for tubular bag seals and wondered if this may be one? It is hollow and flattened with parallel lines across both 'sides'. Could it be a seal or a crimp maybe?..... :g43:

As far as the "professional" detectorist goes, I would imagine she would class someone who runs a full-time business running detecting holidays and taking out people who pay for the privilege etc. as professional.................... :g43:

They are definitely buckles Dave. Examples have been found now with the buckle plates still attached and my research is showing how they could be used to attach belts or straps............. :g50:
