If I remember they are still the property of Germany,and they want them to stay in scarpa flow , the war to end all wars it solved nothing just led to more death and descruction later.Sad. As do all wars, we are supposed to be the most advanced species on the planet, what a load of crap, it was us ...

Thank you Lee, I remember a TV program covering this very subject a few years ago. I suppose that
we must assume there was no loss of life, with the ship being scuttled by the Germans. At least I hope
there was no loss.

As interesting as they may be, I am one of those odd bods who thinks they should be left alone,
as a memorial. In the same way I think about the TITANIC, let it remain as a monument, in
the memory of those who lost their lives on that fateful night so long ago.

As Jerry has said, so very sad. I remember seeing a program about him when I much younger, and it was not pleasant.
