8gb sdhc card - check (requires minimum class 4 so had to buy a new one )
tripod - check
batteries - have lidl nimh2500's which run an explorer for 6-8 hours so hopefully these will do, will invest in more.
Now I just need me in the same part of the country as the damn camera lol ;)

The wife has been tasked with a visit to Argos as they tell me they have the camera in stock for collection tomorrow(finally as I've been sending her mad lol). OK chaps, whats the best camera to go for at around 150 quid, thats a bit ball-park, could be a little flexible here but for that price, new or used? how would I get most bang for bucks?
