The exemption licences for farms say that they only have a licence to spread U10, U11 and U13 waste on their fields. This does NOT include MDF or any treated timber. From much reading it seems PAS100 only currently applies to bagged domestic green waste/compost. That article Phil linked to above however gives some interesting leads and places to apply pressure eg: DEFRA & European Commission's Joint Research Centre. :g50: More letters & e-mails I reckon...

I don,t think that we have any chance of stopping the spreading of green waste, I think there could be more chance of getting better screening of the wast before shredding. Perhaps that may be the route that we should be taking, rather than getting some farmers backs up in trying to get it stopped ...
