no one is ignoring it - if its fact it should be known but if its speculation or rumours for tv ratings then its wrong. someone close to me went through this so i know how it affects lives forever.

i wouldnt of thought the mercury guilding would make it a treasure case?The object fulfils the Treasure Act after it was confirmed that it was prehistoric and part of it was precious metal

i see they have this as a pipe tamper - its a water pistol the missing handle would be a hollow rubber one to suck the water up - i bet it has a hole through to the handle - i have found them on the beaches - i recon they date to the 1950 - 60's http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/49033...
