If that's a 50 m.p.h crash, then it's not a good advert for the cars survivability.

Re: Last airworthy Vulcan passes safety inspection
Brilliant news.
The Vulcan was always my favorite aircraft at the airshows, the unique sound and so maneuverable for such a large aircraft.
Well done to all involved.

Re: Initiative to tackle heritage crime
BBC News 24 have been running this story for most of today, although the events in Egypt are now dominating the news.
I too wish that when the media mention Nighthawkers that they also mention the thousands of responsible detectorists who also hate these scum.

Re: Rome wasn’t built in a day – but this Villa was!!
I remember a tv programme some years ago, which also documented the building of a Roman Villa. It was more of a reality show, with the various builders/archaelogists often falling out. I think Guy La bedoyere was involved, but left the project after a difference of opinion. Can't remember the name o...

Why does it take so long for these type of finds to go through the system?
It must be so frustrating for the finders.

Re: Probe after farmer trampled by cow
Friend of mine was detecting in a field with around 30 cows. He tried to stay well clear of them but one or two kept on following him around. He ignored them and carried on detecting with his back to them. When he got to the end of the field and turned around, there were nearly 20 of the cows not mo...
