pity the press cannot get out of the habit of calling us amatuer archeologists. I am a metal detectorist. That has got to be better than 'Treasure Hunter' hasn't it? We all started where you are once, and the more you dig, the more you learn in so many ways. My advice to you is to keep searching. More permission to search is vital, so don't be put off if you get a few no's, you will get a yes eventually. And then the fun really begins!!
