Seven years old or not, detecting and then digging withouit permission on a National Nature Reserve that is also a SSSI amongst other designations, is really not a good advert for the hobby.........and never mentioned once in the press reports........... :g51:

Can't see anywhere in that report, or in the report on the BBC website, that says they were out on Roydon Common "with landowner's permission to dig". Would I be correct in assuming it's just another case of somebody buying a machine and then thinking they can just stroll where they like and dig holes? Maybe I'm lacking in the Christmas spirit, or don't you think that any machine ought to come with a huge poster saying NO PERMISSION - NO DIG!!! I shall now retreat to my shelter wearing a large tin hat. :hahaha: :hahaha:
