Well, that really has cheered me up..... NOT! five minutes into the hobby and he strikes the proverbial gold (or should that be silver?) - lucky b.....d indeed :g64: :g42:

It could be that they are looking in "Not the Usual" places that us older hands prefer to search in? :g43:

Not a million miles from where I live. Weird ,how many times do we see this happen. I have found one Denarius in five years. :g48:.

PS. Nowt unusual about Riddlesden, Pastural land between Bradford and Skipton in the Aire valley.

It just goes to show, you do hours of research, refine your searching skills, build-up years of experience and all you find is loads of junk then a rookie finds his pot of gold after just a few weeks of tectin :hahaha:

Oh well, I suppose I'll just have to find my holy grail the hard way :g40:
Internet went down last night so I had to spend some time with the family.

Just seen more of this bloke he sounds a top guy he has a you tube channel & he is a good ambassador to the hobby i listened to him on radio leeds yesterday he has a passion top bloke & i have never met him :beer
