how can one begin to put an unbelievable discovery like this into words its mind numbing, just looking at the pictures of the fantastic excavation done by the flo ros tyrrell and the meticulous way it was recorded as they dug down it must have been a complete sense overload, what a buzz chears for posting bri and adding the links fellas

I can see there being another run on new detectors being bought

I really hope that there is a tv program made about the hoard, it will no doubt be a fascinating story!

My head is starting to run away with me now so I am going to start a new thread rather than risk hijacking this one

To think my club went on the same field a year ago. Probably went over the hoard and ignored the iron-like signal...
