:g41: Lost his job ...

:g50: Go to Jail ...

:g38: :g58: Priceless - Cockle was also banned from metal detecting for five years, banned from owning metal detecting equipment and from entering into agreements with landowners to do metal detecting.

He faces five years in jail if he breaches the order.

Even though NOT a good enough one, because this swine will offend again, when he buys new equipment. He is a piece of something you would not want to stand in, or have to scrape off your boots. :g51:

The guy deserves all he gets. Puts us all in a bad light and makes land even harder to secure. Just a greedy pig. :N

Its not over form him yet by any stretch......
"The coin dealer, who had bought the items in good faith, was left out of pocket by Cockle’s actions, the court heard.
A proceeds of crime hearing will take place at a later date.
Cockle, who wore a suit and tie, appeared emotionless as he was led down to the cells.".

He`s been detecting for 30 or so years so there is a possibility more will come to light. Sadly it calls into question anything he might have recorded as well.

This will not be the first time he has been dishonest, either in his work life, or in his civil
way of life.
