"Pompeii ‘fast food’ bar unearthed in ancient city after 2,000 years"

I've never been but would love to see it with my own eyes one day... :g58:

Thanks for posting the link Lee. I went to Pompeii with my wife many years ago and spent the whole day from opening to closing wandering about. It is a fascinating place to visit along with Herculanium. We stayed in Sorrento and it is only a short trip by train to Pompeii with the train station right at the entrance. Hope you make it one day.

Now worries gj, I am pleased that you enjoyed it... :g50: Lucky man you've been and even got to spend the whole day there, that must of been some walkabout! Seems like you've done my itinerary for me so I just need to get a wriggle on and get there... I think Autumn/Winter is probably best for me as when I went to the lakes in the summer it was way to hot for me... :g40: I would of been a rubbish slave in the Roman empire, to hot I belong in the North where it's much cooler... :g58:
