I went there three times for work associated with cross dating tree rings in the salt mines above the town which are a well preserved early bronze age site.

Yes what devastation - I do not really understand why these wooden buildings do not have an automatic water sprinkler system fitted. It is the same with old buildings over here?

The foundations of these wooden buildings are in a large lake - risk of flood may be greater than that of fire.
