good thing he went to the V&A as theyre more experinced , pal of mine found a gold and diamond ring with blue enamel from the stuart period and the blockheads at the london museum said it was a victorian forgery .so my pal took it to the V&A for an opinion and they confirmed it was genuine .so then there was a big row between the 2 museums about it and eventually the london museum bought it for 20k and its on display..so never trust only 1 opinion always get several..the LM has made numerous blunders over the years about finds so i dont trust their opinions further than i can spit
