Someone told me it is matey from 'Unearthed' doing it, so might not be all bad? I just hope they find some nice historical artefacts and have someone on hand to identify them and it's not all about 'Treasure'!!!

Well...I think I have to agree with Graham :g43: On the plus side, it wasn't all about the value, but what a disappointing place. probably would have helped if they filmed it late winter early spring :g43:

Well I was absolutely amazed that nothing much was found from an amazing site like that - one worn cut half was the only hammered silver coin found!! I know conditions were not perfect but I would have expected to see a lot more historical finds being discovered.

I think it would be good if they went back in the winter and stayed for a week, I think then we would start to see a good reflections of the finds the site must surely hold.

supposed experts getting basic stuff wrong too.... Henry 7th "around `1600".. plumbing fittings, was actually a barrel tap. and.. £50-60 for a few roman grots.. utter car crash program

Too close, I would of wanted to be a bit further away where the peasants would of worked .
It’s always generally poor when too close to any major building , there will be some great finds but the majority will be where the general pubic Worked/gathered/farmed.

Anyway, overall it was a poor 3/10 for me

The young lady from NCMD really does need to brush up on her dates if she is going to give out information - Henry VII died in the 1500s - not around in the 1600s !!!!
