I remember reading about the discovery of the battle site in Treasure Hunting magazine some years ago, Captain Klun I think his name was who discovered the battle site. totally different area to where it was believed to have happened if I remember correctly.
As for finding a cuirass, looks more like lorica segmentata to me :g43:
