stuning pity it was a bit closer that would be worth a visit,i thought redcar was only a small place to.

its not really redcar...its in a tiny tiny place on the way to.
f*** all else there apart form a nice church and an owl looking at thingy

Myself and Little Stevie had the pleasure of detecting on this site. We were asked to check the graves before they excavated. The gold brooches and 2 staters had already been found by this time.
We thought it would be a good idea to detect in all metal with the explorer. Never have I seen an area so infested with iron stone :evil: . The site was almost undetectable

I think I will have to pop along and have a look at the display next week.
