Re: Linnet44
That's terrible news Dave, what a shock. Linnet was a real gent and always willing to get involved, showing his finds and his participation on the general site.
Please do send our sympathy to the family and of course to your good selves, his friends.

Re: Linnet44
I am sorry to hear the sad news of such a cheerful member of this forum, sadly I only knew him via the forum & then only briefly. My thoughts go out to all that knew him at every level as he will be sorely missed.
RIP Linnett44.

Re: Linnet44
Just got in & received a PM from Dave concerning Terry.
We knew he was not very well, spoke to him Saturday seemed a little more cheerfull, the last PM i sent was not answered, phoned yesterday no answer, so left a message.
Dave & i were beginning to get concerned, but i never dreamt this would happen.
He helped a lot of detectorists with little or no land, gaining permission for them to detect land in his area.
Five foot two & eight stone wet through, was how he described him self.
Feisty little fella at times, but a big heart.
I'm gutted, will miss the little fella.
R.I.P Ter.
