17th Century Tradesmen's Tokens of Lincolnshire

Post by tomredmayne »

Seventeenth Century Tradesmen's Tokens of Lincolnshire: The Issuers. Published in 1983 by Lincolnshire Museums.

I have been looking for this book for a while as it is out of print, and just managed to pick one up from an online second-hand book seller. It is a superb reference for the local tokens that I find with full descriptions of every token, plus some family history notes about many of the people who issued those tokens. This is, obviously, for Lincolnshire only, but it may be worth looking around for a similar work for your local area.............. :g58:
