Newton Le Willows Richmondshire

Hi,
I'm currently staying in Newton Le Willows while on contract in the area for 4 weeks. (Archaeologist on the A1 road widening scheme) I'd be interested in going out detecting with anyone active in the area. I know it's slightly early as the crops are still on, but I see the wheat is being harvested now, so fields will be coming available shortly. I've never had a chance to search this far east before, so would be glad of anything.
