Manchester Club for beginner

Post by pat the dig »

Can you recommend a club in Gtr Manchester that welcomes beginners and is open to new members? I have looked at the list of clubs on here, but not much info.

Bolton club is the best one,but you would have to go a meeting and see them it's at the victory reform club on chorley old rd bolton,,,,really good club with a good trip every month and loads of friendly faces,,,,,mollie runs the club but I don't have her number you could probably find it with a bit of fishing around or ring the victory reform club and ask when the next metal detecting meeting is,,,,,,,,cheers martin :g50:

Bolton club is a good club but not the best, only bonus is I don't think they have a waiting list, or a limited membership.

Spot on Martin, the static is next to the river in Rhuddlan, we spend 8 months of the year there. I used to volunteer at the Miniature Railway but retired at the end of last year. So now looking to explore the hobby of "Metal Detecting". Thanks for all the help re clubs.
