New Detectorist in Stoke on Trent

Post by foss »

Hi All,
Hope you had a good Xmas, and have a good New year. ! I am relatively new to detecting, However l have had my Garrett Ace for about 6 months, l have only used it twice, I am in my shop 6 days a week, and dont get a lot of time.
But 2015 is going to be the year i make a concious effort to GET OUT THERE, and do some serious detecting !!!
If there is anyone in the Stoke on Trent area that can point me in the right direction, or is willing to let me accompany them on a detecting trip, l would be more than grateful. !
Thanks Guys and Girls :g30: :xmasbiggrin

Hiya Foss, and welcome aboard. IT is a great hobby, and you have a good starter machine, best wishes for 2015.
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.

Hi foss, new to the hobby myself and live in Longton.
Not sure if your still active but it seems difficult in our area finding other detectorists, our local club is closed to new members.
If you are still active may be pm me and try to see about starting a small group?
Any other solo Stokies out there????
