Hello , I am not a beginner as such ,but wondered how long it takes to get , before you can actually post on this forum??
I joined 2 weeks ago but apart from introducing myself , I cant seem to get a post to show up ,without it being needed moderating or approving?????

Crazy

as a newbie you need your first 10 posts approving but only in certain areas, dont take it personally as everyone is required to go through this process, just be patient as a moderator or a member of admin might not see you post that needs approving immediately.
welcome aboard again.

I have never had a foum where it takes 10 posts before they show up (unlike the one above ,whiich for some reason did!!)
I still am getting the 'needs to be approved ' thing - very annoying

hi there, as a newbie you have to make at least 10 posts before you no longer need your posts activating, this applies to all new joiners and is in place to stop bots from spamming the forum, your contribution is very important to us here at UKDN so please dont get frustrated. just had a look and so far your post count is upto 6 so not long to go mate.
all the best and keep posting
