Re: Detectorists against Green Waste Campaign!!
I posted my objections to this way of disposing of "Domestic and Industial Waste" some time ago and feel relieved that somebody, with skills of organization (that I clearly lack), is leading the charge. This practice is illegal, enshrined in U.K. and E.E.C. legislation and is known in the trade as "Dumping of Waste to Land" for which people and companies have been fined han some sums and quite rightly so. Now, will the Government do anything about it? Without us hanging at least two Cabinet Ministers before breakfast every morning I have my wee doubts because this is their cheapest route to conform with the little waste problem. Anybody with ten yards of rope handy?

Thanks for the post Col. Sometimes somebody just needs to make the move but at the end of the day we are all in this together. I'll read up on 'dumping waste to land'.colin wrote:I posted my objections to this way of disposing of "Domestic and Industial Waste" some time ago and feel relieved that somebody, with skills of organization (that I clearly lack), is leading the charge. Feels like this campaign is already gaining some momentum, fingers crossed.
Politicians and nappies have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.
