why not more help?

Following on from a point made in a thread i was wondering why you think more are not getting involved with this growing problem, that may ruin our clean countryside, contaminate our food and least of all finish detecting as we know it,
i am sure my mp must think i am barking mad as i am the only one from staffordshire to contact him and yet we have several of the largest clubs and a glut of detectorists in the area, it would of been nice if when we next spoke he says i am not the only one to be concerned.
i have spoken to the Environment agency again and i will be having a meeting with them soon, it would of been good if i alot more would send mails, make calls to back the problem up.
i know about half a dozen people that have worked real hard on this, but we can only do so much - the masses are needed to help change things - i seen another few piles of waste in farm gates today while driving waiting for the crops to come off before its spread.
rant over - for now
