Fishermans sons used to make the same fishing line frames & net needles, in woodwork class when i was at school.

Yes and if you got a decent fish on & the bugger decided to run, the line cut your hands. :lol:
I used to catch fish in Brid harbour 40- 50 years back, you'd have a job finding out decent in Brid bay now.

Never caught a fish Pete, got a few crabs.

Put a night line out on the beach a Rhyl when the tide was coming in when I was a kid, overslept in the morning and when I got there the gulls had ate the fish and there was just skeletons left :lol:
