This sherd is course and very light in weight
It is a sandwhiched grey with dirty cream colour on side and dirty sienna/light salman on the other.
To me its roman but could it be earlier ? Thanks Jerry.

Not earlier I don't think Jerry. It is too thin and not coarse enough to my eyes. It may be later with the lost inclusions on the outer surfaces.............late Saxon/Saxo-Norman maybe........................
