Help with Medieval Memorial Brass fragments

Post by yeti »

One of my work colleagues has been connected with the Memorial Brass Society now for some 30+ years.I have recently shown him the pieces found by us detectorists on UKDFD and PAS websites and he was amazed. If anybody out there has found anymore would it be o.k if you could send me any details and Piccys of the artefact so that he could document it for the society..Cheers Yeti :g50:

Its not Medieval and I doubt its a memorial brass but the PAS drew a blank and the MBS may find it of interest :g43: Its about 5mm thick and 35mm in length with a threaded screw hole in the back. It was found 30 odd years ago in Epping Forest before detectors were outlawed there.
