Hi there , i was after some info on a good camera for photographing my finds to put on forum and also to store pics on computer, the
digital camera we have is six or 7 years old and is difficult to get a good pic with. I did not want really expensive one, but i realize you have to pay to get good results, i am not very camera savvy, and would appreciate any advice.
Many thanks baz

Re: camera help please
Look for macro down to 1 cm, Canon or Nikon, the other cheaper makes like Fuji as well. Also budget for a cheap table top tripod, couple of quid at most. I'd be looking a £80 at most, but keep an eye open for deals at Jessops. Once you have one eyed up, take a coin with you and ask the assistant to show you a macro shoot of the coin. It should be sharp and more or less fill the screen.
