I remember many years ago, paying £200 for a 20Meg hard drive, for an Amiga computer. :g56:

Ah !, those were the days :g58: . I remember paying a small fortune for a 5.25" floppy disk drive for my Commodore 64, but it was money well spent, and put me into Bill Gates territory at the cutting edge of computer technology :g42:

I also remember paying about £120 for a 2 MEG ram chip to upgrade the first PC I bought :g56: , around 1988 I think. You could probably buy about 12 Gigabytes for that now !

Same here, I paid £1000 for my first PC from a 'source' in Liverpool and it had 4 MB hard drive !!!

The oinly thing it could do was play chess and type on it :g44:

But everyone was amazed that I had this computer.
