Very nice, but are you certain it's going to go on 'display' ? I know several museum acquired bits that have been purchased/donated to be displayed and they have NEVER seen the light of day since! which is a sad shame :g48:

I'd loved to have found this object, we done Paul and the land owner for donating it to the museum.
Deus, XP GMP, CS 4Pi, Canon 450d, Garmin GPS, PAS Self Recorder.
Hamster Count 55. Then so far this year 0 to the Deus.
Denarius Count 7. Then so far this year 0.

I have been working closely with the museum and they have already created space in the centre of the display case a couple of weeks ago :Biggestgrin:

They have designed the pedastal and enhancements and it just needs finishing off now that they actually have the badge in their possession.
It's going on temporary display for two months then it's off to York University to be assessed regarding bringing her back to her original state :g49:
After that, it's back to The Museum of Lancashire to go on permanent display at the heart of their medieval display.

.... and Kev - I like to look on myself as a realist and not an optimist. Nothing worse than an authority saying one thing then doing the complete opposite :g44: as they frequently do :g62:

:g50: well done. i have donated at retford museum. all have been on display. some still are . since 80s. lost some at wakefield in 70s. not been back.
