Parlimentary Adjournment Debate on CGW.

Post by jcmaloney »

As some may know StuE has been in contact with his MP Sir Bob Russell, subsequently Sir Bob Russell met with the NCMD to gather more evidence & now he appears to have been lucky in the adjournement debate ballot.

Politicians and nappies have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.

Yes very many have been doing their bit but the most important thing now is to get those photos and locations recorded. Can you get some pictures baza? Might be a bit late for 12th December but it will always come in handy.

The new laws and obligations of landowners who have or are signing up to agreements that effect Metal detecting.

Natural England taking over further land using their authority and objectives to reclassify land. etc etc.

EU funding for Natural England to achieve their objectives.

Some early day members who have been participants of this site like myself, warned before what would happen and it has started.

Eventually further information will become public and clubs will have to make decisions with regards the way forward.

At 78, it will not effect me too much but younger detectorists will have restrictions placed on them that my generation did not have to contend with.

Perhaps that will enlighten you Ken. :g43: Jerry.

I asked a polite question Jerry, why the attitude? I'll even forgive you for getting my name wrong! You may have some valid points that could be discussed on another thread so that this one isn't hijacked.

Sorry I pressed the "n" key instead of the "v".

Must be slipping in my old age. :g49:

Please dont be too upset about me adding what a good job NCMD are doing in addition to the "War on Contaminated Green Waste" in the same issue of "Digging Deep", which you will have received a copy as a NCMD member. :g58: Jerry.
