Garret ace 150

Post by Berry1196 »

Hi there, I have just purchased a garrett 150 and had a go in the garden and was just picking up signals everywhere as soon as I moved, and once I got a signal I would sweep back over to find I can't pick up that signal again sometimes, it's just a bit confusing to be honest, any help appreciated, also what setting/modes would you recommend for for ploughed fields and would you dig every signal? Regards Adam

As I recall, the 150 is very similar to the 250, apart from not having pinpoint ?
Gardens are not the best place to use a detector, as there will usually be all sorts of
junk that has accumulated over the years. Or new junk if it's a newbuild property.

From memory, you need the sensitivity at around 75%, or less if it starts chattering.

agreed, also make sure you don't have your mobile phone anywhere near it as it will sound off your machine from time to time.....or steel toe capped boots.
Sometimes too much to drink is barely enough.
