large rock
hello went out on my permission the other day when I had a cracking signals hitting 40 both ways every swing with my safari ..well I dug the hole removed a large boulder shaped brick about 6-7 inches in diameter put my detector back on the hole to find the signal was the large brick...any ideas???

Post some pictures of it, together with a full description of it, such things as weight, composition appearance( as in it looks like ...........), if you have one, check whether it reacts to a magnet, and so on.
What depth was it found at ? Is it a bluish grey, and very dense ?
You are in one of the U.Ks better meteorite grounding areas.

Nope that didn't work. To attach a pic, save it in your own doc section of your PC/Laptop then resize to below 1mb, then when posting click on add attachment, browse your Docs, open the pic file which will then add to your post and then post as normal, if all is OK your Pic will appear with your post.

I thought hot rocks register as 40 on the Safari

If it was a meteorite it would give a real earbender of a signal.

right I've been looking about and it's just an earth rock it is magnetic gives a lovely signal but it's got holes in it and apparently meteorites don't
