I heard back in the day sailors didn't bother learning to swim as if you went overboard the ships didn't have the maneuverability to turn around and pick them up as it would of been a few miles away, so drowning was a blessing as the were left behind as life was cheap back then.. :g48: so i guess if your in a little rowing boat and you go overboard your still stuffed... :g43:
