Uniprobe Modification.

Post by JBM »

We have a few Uniprobe pocket version probes in use within the UK these days despite their high cost.

Both mine and my detecting friends were the earlier versions and we had problems with the probe connector fittings which always needed re soldiering.

A number were returned to the USA for modification and it was then that we found out that there is a very good detecting engineer Mr Les Piper in our midst.

Both our units are now fine and this fault cannot reoccur.

While talking to Les I found out that he has a fully fitted NC workshop and has produced some varied and quality products for detectorists.

If you require anthing from straight shafts to detector mods etc etc just give him a ring.

I do not make a habit of recommending services like his but he may just be able to help those of us without his facilites and skills.

Les Piper 020 8890 4666.
